Rather it would be good to see a simple test mode where while making the map you can switch between "edit" and "test" mode, in edit mode the usual stuff happens, in test mode all the items on the map are spawned and the map editor handler scripts get swapped out for a simple player movement handler in a local game. No network. No server. Asking for changes this ridiculously big would require a massive fucking rewrite.
Think about the people who make the game for once instead of just yourselves please.

I would like the attack hook to be triggered before the bullet leaves the gun though. Not after it hits a wall.

This is cs2d and no cs 1.6.
As you can see, this game is nearly 100% edited from the original with all these ideas of @user DC: ,this game need not be equal to the original, but this is due DC.
In my opinion...

You should change your own nick if that's the best reply you can come up with to a nice idea.
He has a good point since current default AC is nothing but a trouble when lag occurs(which does even in the best servers sometimes and AC kicks random players) and speed hackers can simply run while holding "shift" key - which makes them a little bit slower and able to bypass the detection.

All in all about current CS2D, everything seems to be great and the game is really looking awesome compared to past versions. I think the main concern for DC should be increasing fairness in international competition and working together with other CS2D communities to improve the only successful anti-cheat programs: "Cheat Guard" by cs2d.nl creators and "Guardian" by pcs-project creators.

No offense to @user DC: but your wrong, even cheat
engine can bypass the current anti-hack of cs2d, cs2d
is poor in anti-hacks, it only detects window name like "cheat engine" and other what DC put. Also it detects dll on cs2d folder. And I don't own GAMEGUARD it's still my
suggestion. Also umad? "besides it already has an anti-hack" u sure bro? speedhackers can bypass it, they just
speedhack and normal speed and speedhack and normal speed
again and again.

That makes me rage on Jates RP (I think) i must shift(walk) to not get kicked and a speed hacker just runs around and does that , you cant imagine what rage was that.

It should be made so that accuracy of a weapon be set to zero when player is not firing the weapon at all. When player is using a certain weapon, between an AWP and an M249. Crosshair will enlarge much more quicker when using the M249 due to its lack of accuracy but an AWP crosshair will enlarge instantly whenever it is shot.

Also, when shooting a weapon, the crosshair will also shake due to recoil which requires the player to control the crosshair much more harder. When using weapons like the Ak-47 and the M4A1, they are more suitable between short and medium range but can still be in good use if players can fire in short bursts at long range.

When reloading, instead of a lame reload bar at the bottom, DC should make a circle at the crosshair when reloading so players will get a good idea about reloading times. The faster the circle spins in one round, the faster it reloads.


The M249 should not have had that bad of an accuracy. Instead, weapon accuracy would extend to a certain variation of as a limit for holding down the mouse button for too long. Some cool weapons like the M249 can be set to be a skill weapon as it requires a lot of control when using the weapon.

Anyway, in the future. DC should add the no penetration of bullets for the sake of mankind and also the enlarging and shaking of crosshair too. When I mean enlarging and shaking of crosshair, I mean it. Let's see if you can make a Lua of that @user Apache uwu: Only the crosshair shakes while enlarging. Shaking value of the crosshair will also increase as long as the mouse button is held.
