I am obsessed with British TV series such as Dr. Who. I hope I'm not the only one here that watches it!
palomino has writtenAmerican.
May I ask why?
Seems like mods here like TV a lot so they were angry enough to delete my post.

Conscience: I got used to watching those. There aren't many British sitcoms that I like and that is most likely the only genre I watch. shawn of the dead is a good example of a humorous british film
Original British Top Gear is WAY better, the brits have that dark humour that cause my sides to explode of laughing too hard, even the funniest fat Americans don't do a portion of that to me.
Same for other series 'murricans decided to copy, such as The Inbetweeners. Wtf?! I laughed extremely loud with the UK version, and decided to watch USA episodes but no, just no. They try too hard to be funny, while Brits just open their mouth and dat accent does it.

And at 20:05, HAHAAHA.
http://youtu.be/CujUW89crcI?t=24m04s 24:04, it's fucking funny when they start vomiting around.
Ok, I have written now too much. And with that bombshell, I'm out of here.

medeiros: They also copied Skins and completely removed anything to do with nudity and swearing. The whole fun of the series was ruined by the American version.@
robed: That's another great series, thanks for reminding me. I am pretty sure the new season episode has been out for a couple of days. I'll have to check HBO some time and record it.

Americans see Brit TV is so good ad they copy it and end up fucking it up.
medeiros has writtenBritish TV is MUCH better.
I actually took this post seriously here.

But this ruined the whole thing. Vomiting is funny, yes, of course.

Not much of a bombshell.

Didn't meant to be one TBH , just imagined Jeremy Carlkson's voice saying that. Also fixed my post as I forgot to add that.

"Some say he keeps a picture of his wallet in his wallet".
Why does that even make laugh, lel.
robed has writtenbut the people to directed it was american but most of the actors where british
Most of Game of Thrones was filmed in Northern Ireland. And not to mention that most of the Fantasy settings are usually based of European Medieval history/Middle Ages.

Shaun*. And there are definitely more British films than just SOTD that are considerably funny.
medeiros has writtenBritish
Conscience has writtenThey also copied Skins
The problem with this is that British humour and America humour do not go well together.
Another comedy series, Shameless, also fell under the same format. The reason that it is funny in the UK is because of the atrocious welfare system we have and the subculture that it follows under. The US version tries to create the same formula but (shamelessly) it doesn't live up to expectations.
I agree that the british act better, and they don't need nudity or sex to make their movies famous.
Americans are better when it comes to comedy movies thou.

Yet you only managed to name three. Two of which are completely awful.
In season 2 I discovered that Rick (the main character) is actually British IRL, because I saw an interview and he was speaking naturally British, went to Wikipedia and that confirmed it. It's really cool that he can switch between dat British accent and the semi-cowboy 'murrican one.
I guess it's a coincidence that my favourite American series has a British main character.
you don't really need to auto check my spellings anyway, it is so obvious anyway.
robed has writtensome people have they're own opinions on which they like.
Their*
Also, no shit sherlock. Why do you think I'm posting them myself?
robed has writtenyou don't really need to auto check my spellings anyway
No, I really do need to autocheck them.

The Brits and the Yanks have been doing this for ages. Just look at Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock. We practically borrowed one another.
