i cant post an image in the ols editor should i put it in the folder first it seys file and i type the exactly location gfx/strbr.bmp and it stil dont work please help my people i try to post imag but do not work i tryed it many times....

of course it is possible. you can use every size you like and you can use bmp or jpg. just put it into the gfx/backgrounds/ dir and enter its name + extension in the map properties of your map.
the background is tiled automatically. if you want to fill the whole background without tiling you have to make a 640x480 pixel image.
