I know in the adventure game towards the end of the first island you get a treasure map that shows the whole island. My question is, Im playing endless mode on large island and always lose my way. Is there a way to get a map on endless, or any tips for not getting lost? Thanks.

Yes. Click the ~ button under escape and then type dm into the console. It will open a menu for you to give yourself items such as a map.
