i need help, does someone know how i can make my server public with DSL internet?.................it says on the dedicated server:
U.S.G.N.: Sending serverlist ADD-request...
U.S.G.N.: Server added to server list
but it isn't in the server list
i need help, any port error? or what? Admin/mod comment
the Unreal Software forum section was the wrong choice. Moved to CS2D server section! /DC Hello.
Have you Port forward ob your Router/Firewall
Standard: 36963 - UDP. DC Admin Offline
Damn it...
You see your server ALWAYS in Lan!
But others do see it in the serverlist.
How can't you understand that? People?! @ Infinite Rain: You can see your server in the server list too :o. Dux User Offline
You have dynamic ip, your ip changes each moment, so the U.S.G.N service cant identify your ip, you must have Static IP
I have the same problem, for get the static ip, i think you must talk about this with your service of internet
Maybe thi is your problem, or can be another thing @ Dux When you have a dynamic IP your IP usually only changes each 1 or 2 days. That's not the problem at all. If your IP would change every moment, then you would NEVER be able to even see a webpage. Sorry, but your post is bullshit. Why is the rule:

Nobody in the forum can help you if you tried everything which has been said here! We would love to help but we could only repeat things which are explained here already.
So i think noone will be able to help if you did not follow everything written there.
P.S: the thread is Server Setup: Guide / Checklist
Also, The last time I saw my server in the internet tab was about 2 years ago. Once. So if you did everything correctly you may see your server in the LAN tab, but others (With different IP) will see it in the Internet tab. @ Dux: The dynamic IP-address is simply a temporary address given to you through the DHCP (protocol) that is sent from your router via your specific ISP and that address shouldn't change all too often. Although it is possible to change it whenever it's needed. Not all that tricky actually, one way to go is just by restarting the router and then you'll obtain a new dynamic IP-address that you can put to use in order to connect to the internet. Does that sound reasonable enough? else read more about it on the net, how it works and all. I'd recommend it if you're creating online game servers.
I do hope it should be possible to create a CS2D server with a DSL connection however I'm assuming that you will experience lots of high latency, I'd recommend getting ADSL since it's way faster than DSL and because it's simply worth the money. You've made a somewhat poor choice when it comes to internet connectivity more or less. But anyways I'm not here to judge you due to your internet connection since I've been in those situations myself at times, so I'm still quite sure that you can pull off a CS2D server without too much problems. You just need to port forward the used port for CS2D which is 36963 I believe. Whence you've done this you'll be able to host a online game server with CS2D running, enjoy. Dux User Offline

Just seen ohaz's post,so if my ip changes every 10 minutes lets say, would my connection crash when it changes? Because i noticed i get many ip's in one day when my internet used to crash every 10 minutes, last month. @ Ahmad: No. Your connection should not even be affected. Depends - your "actual" connection should not get affected at all. Established TCP connections might drop though - since your IP changes and a TCP connection is identified by two ports and two IPs (yours and the ones of the other person). When one of the IPs changes the connection is lost. But many tools/games that use TCP have the possibility to reestablish the connection pretty fast nowadays, so you might not even notice it. @ ohaz: Not Cs2d for sure.
