Hi..All i have a problem in cs2d
when i open it it says trying to login..and never logs in
so i tried everything
the username was right..the pass was right because i can login here ..and can't in cs2d..so please help Here's a list, if the first didn't work, move on the next one and so on.
List:
Erase the login data then press "Okay". Then, refill it again.
Restart CS2D.
Close CS2D, repair your connection, open CS2D. (Only in WinXP.)
Restart your router.
Restart both your PC and your router.
Cry and beg for mercy. Restore your system, works every time. One reason might be that your router blocks the CS2D port which in this case is a random number. CS2D generates a random port, and it's the port that needs to be port forwarded in order for some routers to be able to communicate in CS2D. Other possible problems could be that you have limited internet access (firewalls) and so forth. Admin/Mod Kommentar
Corrected a misunderstood about server port and client port. /Starkkz

It's sort of like a last resort if it all fails. I doubt that failure to login will happen unless you have certain restrictions and or your usgn.dat is missing or manipulated which could lead to this problem aswell.

Because his PC is a goddamn masochist and wants hardware rather than software.

RaZZe: Have you tried writing your username on capital and lowercase letters? Just sayin' @
3RROR: Yep.. i Tried Everything .... But it worked When i Configured My router Settings.. it seems that it Blocks cs2d Port... the 36963 thing.... i had to delete my port forwarding ... and my server .. so i can Log in .. But thanks Everyone Admin/Mod Kommentar
If you have a bad internet connection, chances are your ISP is shaping CS2D's USGN login packets so badly that it times out. This used to happen to me... a lot. Same happened for me once and I couldn't log in, couldn't see serverlist unless I restarted CS2D 10 times, moreover, I sometimes couldn't load maps in CS:GO. Also when I joined one server and quit from it, I couldn't join any other server except to come back to that previous one.
The problem was my changed router settings that I messed up and forgot to change it back. Read Google how to do a Hardware reset for your router. On some routers forwarding Port UDP 36963 which cs2d use for server and transfering data from U.S.G.N causes connection problems with U.S.G.N. I found out this with my ISP, he port forwarded my 36963 port and I couldn't login anymore, and when he reverted it back the problem dissapeared. Zitat

I'm sorry there are password issues with mac/linux at 0122. I'll fix them asap. yea, just confirming usgn password issue on linux (ubuntu 12.04 32bit).
The password gets reset when the options get saved ('Okay' button)
A workaround:
Download the older version (0.1.2.1) and put it into the same folder with a different name, do your options there, start the new version and just don't touch the options
