when i press windows button on keyboard then game minimize itself but when i reopen the game all textures of grass and ground are black. i downloaded free version from your website

Sorry for that. It's a known issue. Only way to avoid it is not tabbing out of the game.
This the workaround:

Not much can be done about it probably, last version was 16+ years ago and on an pretty old engine that still mainly uses DirectX 7 or something.
Side note, tried dgVoodoo ( thread

Fixing unplayable fps in stranded 2 with dgVoodo) and it kinda helped with the textures after alt-tab when fullscreen but not the UI.

I have almost the same problem, but different reason.
I bought a new computer Win10-64.
At first, S2 worked, then either something in the system was reconfigured, or there was some other reason, but now instead of the ground, a dynamically changing set of black planes is shown.
Has anyone encountered such a problem? What can I do to get the game working properly again?
